The Spider-man IP held it down. If Sony had the balls to let go of that connection and embrace it as an original IP, I think they'd have greatness.

Many aspects reminded me of John Wick. Except this would have been told from the perspective of the crime boss's child. A child that wanted to set things right and had a bit of bloodlust. Keep the mystical animal instincts. A mob-filled revenge flick with a hard-on against crime but not afraid to kill.

Beastmaster + Punisher + John Wick.

Remove the Rhino. Keep the father but turn him up to 11 on the cruelty scale. Keep the chameleon brother. Change Calypso. She and The Foreigner compete for the head of Kraven.

Let Kraven hunt man in the urban jungle with whatever the environment provides. He lives by this code not out of necessity but an obsession with setting himself apart from the world that he was raised in.

If only Sony could have seen it.
